Factory is scheduled to resume work on March 2 for Covid-19

Our Guangdong factory is scheduled to resume work on March 2. Taipei headquarters remains operational since Jan.30.
After Chinese New year, in the face of the spread of form named Covid-19(Wuhan pneumonia), there is a heavy sense of unrest in the world, the manufacturers cannot fully start the supply chains as usual.
In order to prevent and control the epidemic, the Chinese government postponed the work to February 10. However, the Ministry of Commerce of China issued a notice on the 6th. Even after the 10th, enterprises cannot start work without permission, they must first apply to the local government.
Our factory is located in Guangdong Province, although it will start on the 10th, but recommended that the company delay the start to the 17th. We plan to resume work on March 2.
The general forecast is that the full-scale working will be the fastest by the end of February, and it will take at least 2 to 3 months to return to the previous capacity. As to whether the original order quantity can be maintained, it depends on the actual production capacity after resumption and the customer's decision.
We can only hope that the epidemic will be brought under control as soon as possible, so that the impact on the manufacturing and various industries will not be expanded.
